Improving Performance
Determining current performance, setting goals, monitoring progress and reporting accomplishments requires performance measurements. This workshop discusses the process, and concentrates on the specific performance issues defined by the workshop participants. The workshop uses Clinical Engineering Improvement Tools, CEIT as one reference. CEIT is a comprehensive collection of performance measures and management tips; a handbook for clinical engineering management by Emanuel Furst, PhD, CCE and W. David McKinney. It is an extensive, comprehensive, collection of focused performance assessment tools. Quickly assess performance. Instructional material to help make improvements. Spreadsheets, checklists, survey forms and other tools to evaluate, monitor and report performance.
