Emanuel (Manny) Furst, Ph.D, CCE, President of Improvement Technologies, LLC has over 20 years experience managing in-house and contracted clinical engineering departments, and six years of experience consulting on clinical engineering management including performance measurement and improvement, equipment planning and JCAHO Environment of Care compliance. Manny is active professionally, with numerous publications, presentations and awards to his credit.

Our authors include

C. Roger Camplin, President of Camplin, Bartels and Associates. He has extensive experience in JCAHO compliance, healthcare construction plan review, equivalency assistance, life safety and safety program analysis. With experience within healthcare organizations and in consulting, Roger is known for his expertise in facilitating comprehensive integration of Environment of Care functions into the overall operations of facilities, organizational performance improvement and patient safety programs to develop an organizational culture of safety. Roger has a 35 year background in fire protection, healthcare loss control and life safety.
